Smashing Darling is just one of those sites I happened to stumble upon and instantly fell in love. It is definitely not for anyone who is shy (which I’m not!) Many of the pieces I can see Carrie Bradshaw wearing with her Manolos. The clothes are fun, funky, edgy and the accessories are equally as interesting. This site has tons of indie designers, some I’ve never even heard of, but instantly fell in love with! There’s also a great vintage section with some adorable, more conservative items! There are several dresses that are on my must have dress list, and I’m sure you’ll see me in them any day now!

This dress is the perfect mix of vintage, classic and modern. The tulle and leather bow are vintage, shape is very classic and the sheer overlay print is very modern. I’m obsessed with this piece that basically sums up all three of my fashion sides into one gorgeous dress!

This dress just screams couture! The black strapless top keeps it simple which allows the multi-colored plaid (which is in this season) taffeta skirt to flow out in every direction. There is also a matching bolero with a darling neck closure. This dress is a mix of avant garde, and my birthday dress when I was six, which in my opinion makes it a must-have.

This dress, made of hand cut african lace and cotton embroidery, is the ideal modern piece with that special vintage flair. The print is simply delectable and the neckline and sleeves just top it off! I love it!
