The last time I wore glitter I think I was 12. I had hot pink glittery lip gloss, lime green glittery nail polish, silver roll-on glitter and shimmer spray for my hair and body. Let’s just say I was on glitter overload but I’m DEFINITELY NOT advocating this look as we all revert to my fabulous middle school look. However, I’ve been noticing several make-up brands coming out with glitter and shimmer products. At first I wasn’t sure about this latest trend, but my mind has changed. Although I may my look at 12 was not very classy, today I’ve seen glitter and shimmer used to accentuate while still being classy. Especially with the holidays coming up, a little glitter on your eyes can be fun, or maybe just a light shimmer for a subtle look. There are also glittery eyeliners or mascara for just an extra something. Whatever you choose for all of your holiday parties, don’t be afraid to take a chance and have some fun with glitter!
